Door Slam Fixture
I developed an automated door slam fixture for testing door hardware. This system not only conducted unlocking and cycling tests but also logged all cycles and recorded fault times. It could send email and text notifications to lab personnel at any time of day.
Pneumatic Manufacturing Actuators
Among the various manufacturing fixtures I designed, I developed a pneumatic system for stress-testing and identifying manufacturing flaws. Any failures detected during the stress application were documented in subsequent manufacturing tests, which I both developed and automated.
3D Surface Scanner
I designed, programmed, and built an advanced 3D surface scanner, featuring various motor technologies, laser scanning capabilities, and a custom GUI. This project not only captures data with precision but also allows for seamless data analysis directly within the user-friendly interface.
ESP32 Based Controller
A controller built on the ESP32 to communicate directly with other ESP32 devices utilizing the ESP-NOW framework.
Remote Lab Access
Experience the convenience of seamless lab management.
Tired of requiring technicians for after-hours monitoring or fearing data loss from device malfunctions?
I specialize in updating existing lab equipment, providing enhanced automation, and enabling remote access. I can bring your existing equipment online transforming your lab into a smart, efficient, and accessible workspace.
Test Data Measurement
Skilled in the measurement of diverse stimuli, including force, pressure, temperature, and vibration across both static and dynamic systems.
Well versed in capturing events ranging from brief milliseconds to extended months and adept at processing the acquired data to produce comprehensive result presentations.
Hardware Failure Analysis
My skill set encompasses the capacity to conduct thorough failure analysis, spanning from system-level hardware down to individual ICs and components. This entails diagnosing issues associated with weathering, corrosion, moisture damage, electrical stress, PCB failures, as well as assessing detailed hardware and electrical failure scenarios.
PCB Business Card
A work in process, I am developing a low cost PCB business card that can play simple games on an 8×8 LED matrix.
The board is built around the Atmega328 MCU, with the goal of being powered via the onboard solar cells.
Automated PCB Quality Testing
Utilizing a variety of lab equipment, automation methods, and prototyping techniques, I have developed custom test apparatuses for testing PCB and electronic assemblies for functionality and conformance. Pictured here is a system that used mechanical relays to cycle between different power sources and measurements being applied to different test points on the circuit board.
